Google PPC and Organic Joining Hands
Posted on July 27, 2008
Are Organic and PPC Joining Hands?

Google’s Basic Company Mission: Provide most relevant content delivered on SERPS, includes PPC and Organic Results.
Changes to Performance Based Advertising at Google.
Did anybody notice the economic platform at Google has been rapidly evolving lately? “The winds of change” are here today, right here, and now.
This applies to both PPC and organic results that are served when someone enters a phrase into the all mighty Google Search.
Advertisers have to be kept happy and Google knows that. Google is bringing the 2 worlds together. . . natural and PPC. They are moving forward in small but certain steps. Part of success from this program used to be derived from the longer a company spends bidding on a particular phrase, the lower the cost per acquisition. An example of this is if we had a company that was bidding on a term such as “home security” for the last few years thier cpc (cost per click) may be $4. If a new company entered the marketplace and wanted the same term for the same ad position they may have to pay $6-7 for the same click. Presumably, the reason for this is fundamental business or a loyalty bonus.

What is your Unique Selling Proposition
Posted on February 20, 2008
A Different Angle
If you’ve tried every suggestion and tip there is online or offline for your brochure printing ad and postcards, but you still don’t have the results you want, why not try a different angle to your print ads? You might want to consider using USP to create a successful marketing campaign for your business.
What is a USP? USP is the abbreviated version for Unique Selling Proposition. It is what makes you different from all the rest. It’s the thing that separates your business from your competitors.
If you look at a directory, the first thing you will notice is that all the information for every service you might need describes the same things - similar designs, similar content. Not one ad will jump at you from the page you’re browsing. And why is that? It’s because each of the ads didn’t make a great job of showcasing the USP for each business.

Creating Dynamic Ads to Get More Clicks

Improve Your “Click Through Rate” by Writing Effective Google AD Copy
Comments: Article bodMaking the most of your Google Advertising opportunities requires a good look at your advertising text from an internet marketer’s point of view. By incorporating some fundamental marketing logic to your Google PPC (Pay Per Click) Ads, you can increase your CTR (Click through Rate) without having to exponentially increase your CPC (Cost per Click) campaign budget.
Having the highest CTR possible is essential in getting your Google Adwords Advertisement ahead of your competition. Why? Before your advertisement is shown on Google or any of their partner sites, a quick alculation is performed to asses the ranking or position of each advertisement.
There are many other factors that govern your PPC ad’s ranking (such as landing page quality) but this is the basic formula.
‘CTR x CPC = Rank’
Just buy looking at the formula it is easy to see that an advertisement with the higher CTR will gain a better rank than an advert with a similar CPC. This is why it is important to make users ‘want’ to click on your ad. The more clicks your advertisement has in contrast to every time it is displayed (impressions), the higher your CTR.

Theme Based Keyword Clustering
Posted on January 22, 2008
I was just listening to one of my mentors Russell Wright from ThemeZoom and he really got me to thinking. In case you have not heard of Russell you can get to know Russell’s brain here. I have been a ThemeZoom member for about 6 months now. I consider myself proficient in using the keyword clustering marketing analysis application. I will also likely be a ThemeZoom member for life. It is not because of the Multi million dollar application. It is not because of the countless videos that help you learn the tool. It is not because of the new application launch in March 2008.
It is Russell’s brain that helps me the most.
ThemeZoom just conducted a survey of about 85 users. I listened to the entire 80 minute audio and the cross tabular survey results. In his audio he gives his take on the next 24 months of stormy weather in store for the web. Russell and Art Crowley have put together one of the most impressive learning pads for present and future marketeers. What they are going to tell you is really about the same principles that have applied for decades. It is just that today there are more Multi channels to market through. Mailing lists are still used but what we do with them has changed.

Posted on May 24, 2007
PPC Advertising stands for Pay per Click Advertising. There are several multinational companies around the world that are spending thousands of dollars every single month on their PPC advertising campaigns. According to Forbes, by 2008, companies will spend $8 billion a year on PPC advertising.
There are three major parts of your pay per click marketing campaigns that you can constantly improve.
• Create more focused lists of keywords.
• Split tests your ads for better conversions.
• Your conversion rate including how your keywords are converting into sales and the effectiveness of your landing pages.
Nothing is perfect in this world; Pay per Click Advertising has some benefits and drawbacks also. No matter which keyword you are choosing for PPC campaigns, you should be familiar with all benefits, and drawbacks of PPC Advertising. Some of them are given below
Some of the benefits of PPC Advertising are: -
• You can start immediately without any knowledge of Natural Rankings/ Organic SEO.
• You will start to see results within 4-5 days.
• There is no need to design a website which conforms to SEO guidelines.
• Even if your website doesn’t show up on top pages of various search engines, you can still opt for PPC Advertising.
• You can target every single search engine on the globe.
• You can target any keyword you want.
You should always choose top level keywords for PPC Advertising, but along with their benefits they have their drawbacks too.
Some of the drawbacks of PPC Advertising are: -
• You have to pay a fixed amount every month to Google, Yahoo, or Msn.
• You pay for every single click your website receives. Sometimes your visitors are just your competitors, and other people simply fooling around on search engines. They can really increase your expenditure.

Get Effective, Affordable Advertising in a Few Clicks
Posted on May 23, 2007
One of the questions you ask yourself when planning your own text advertising program is, how much should you charge for your placement. We came up with a formula that works well for our objectives. We are building an information based website that is networked to helpful, professionals in the topics of PPC AdSense, SEO and SES, Business Planning, Real Estate and Affiliate Marketing. Our advertisers can choose from these categories when buying advertising for as little as $25/per month. When seeking the right text ads, the first thing you need is a good, related text links.
Ads on Your Site
When to make your advertisement make sure you choose a phrase or keywords in the clickable part (anchor text) that best describe your website. Help build your website’s reputation by advertising where it is seen in the right light. By strategically constructing a network of quality links, you can increase your chances to rank higher with the search engines and get targeted visitors to your website. With a couple clicks you have your advertisement in place within a day.
We Tag with Purchased Advertising
Without including the nofollow attribute your link may not be included with Google and may not pass PageRank with links coming from the site that sells links.
“It doesn’t mean that it is a bad link, or that you that you hate it, just that this link doesn’t belong to me.”
Matt Cutts
http://blog.searchenginewatch.com/blog/050118-204728
Google has made it clear that purchased links that do not include that tag will eventually become of no value for Search Engine indexing. The purpose of this network is to advertise and deliver qualified visitors to your site.
Gain Traffic with Effective Ads
It is a known fact amongst website marketeers that one of the most effective methods to get traffic is to obtain quality links. The power to generate traffic in links in huge. But one-way links to your site should not come from link saturated pages that have nothing to do with your websites theme. You want to make sure your ads are being seen by visitors so you can reap the benefits of a click thru. This is your chance to convert qualified visitor to your site at very affordable rates.
What about Google?
To make your ad meeting Google’s parameters is something all parties must be aware of. Google will devalue or delete links that have been purchased for the purposes of manipulating result pages. Google AdWords made it easy for an advertiser to be active in their ad networks. But Google advertising can quickly add up to thousands with very little ROI if you are not familiar with how things work. The AdWords Program is the best out there, but it is not for everyone. For those seeking an affordable, predictable advertising cost the Create Online Business advertising Program is a wise choice starting at $25/ per month, flat rate for an adveristing link placement on related pages. This is not pay per click!

Get Google Adwords Pay Per Click FREE
Posted on April 25, 2007
I would guess that most of the Internet marketing community is at least somewhat familiar with Google Adsense and the Pay Per Click concept. Google Adsense can be a very lucrative venture for some, and a financial minefield for others, so having a better understanding of Adsense is worthwhile.
Google Adsense is small contextual ads that are published on websites. The ads created are called Adwords. Google Adwords and Adsense run hand in hand. Every time someone does a search on Google or one of their partner networks and clicks on one of the sponsored ads, then Google will charge the person who created that ad a predetermined price. This is where the term “pay per click” comes from.
So how is the price per click determined? This is where the Adwords side of the equation kicks in. Adwords publishers bid on keywords. The more lucrative or sought after a keyword is, the more the publisher will be willing to pay for each click. Keywords range anywhere from a few cents to in excess of $50 per click!
So there you are, spending midnight hours compiling keywords and manipulating text ads, trying to get the best deal with Google Adwords Pay Per Click. Cos’ if you get it right it can work wonders for your bank balance, get it wrong and it can seriously make a dent in your credit card.
However, after all that sweat and toil, it appears that a new break-through secret is all you now need in order to get your Google AdWords pay-per-clicks completely FREE of charge.
Are you kidding me?. Here’s me wasting all my youth trying to beat the system, and now they tell me that a gentleman from New York discovered by accident, what he calls an “oversight” on the part of 99.9% of all marketers that allows him to get advertising at Google absolutely FREE, as well as all other search engines that allow sponsored ads.
And no, nothing about his “secret” is illegal - nor does it require that you know someone on the “inside” at Google, Yahoo, MSN, Overture and others.
Instead, the New Yorker boasts proudly “…this is something that he caught onto just before 2000 when there was so much search engine craze running around, and started doing small just to test things at first … but which he later expanded on after getting the hang of it.”
And to rub salt into the wound, this same fellow went on to make millions of Dollars operating sixteen separate on line companies selling everything from pet food, DVDs, children’s toys & games, books, software, and sold not only his own manufactured products but became an affiliate for other web businesses – simply applying his mastermind secret!
Over the course of nearly eight years the New Englander confesses “I’ve actually gotten over $87 million in FREE advertising using my secret. The largest share of which was Google pay-per-clicks as well as other forms of paid advertising at search engines … all of which I got for free …”
So powerful is his secret that using Pay Per Click Advertising, he’s able to monopolize any niche on line, and can always secure the top premium spots just above the usual organic results featured at most search engines.
Now to everyone else’s fortune, the city slicker is releasing his secret for getting an unlimited amount of Free pay-per-click ads to the general public. But he’s not promising any of us for how long. A bit of an eccentric, the gentleman says “We’ll see just how long I can make it available before it saturates things.”
One famous public web guru pointed out that although this man may gain economically more so as a result of the publication of his secret “he’s already so amazingly rich that whether he continues or discontinues its sale will neither make nor break the man, but not grabbing it for yourself while it’s still available could prove disastrous for you as you may only have one chance, and a very limited one at that, to get this.”
I’m not too bothered, cos’ I’ve got mine, But when I discovered this man’s secret. I was so dumbfounded I nearly turned to drink. Why didn’t think of it?. It was so simple.
It’s in a very easily readable format and is quickly and readily understood and mastered by anyone with even a 4th grade reading level.
It’s currently available in the May edition of wb-bulletinboard, so you may want to head on over there now and get it for yourself
While you’re there, why not scroll down and review for yourself the huge successes others are now having with this incredible breakthrough in targeted advertising now made freely available to the rest of us?
To your Success

AdWords Instantly
Posted on February 8, 2007
Have you noticed the listings that are placed on a better position in a search engine result page? These listings are on a more visible position because they are paid listings. Many search engines today – especially the major search engines – accept paid listing.
Paid listings have captured the interest of many webmasters and web marketing experts due to its many benefits. Here are some of the most relevant benefits of a paid listing:
• Paid listing allows your website and ads to appear instantly on the search engine result pages or SERPs.
• Paid listing places your website on a more visible area on the search results.
• Paid listing lets you choose the keywords, keyword phrases and search terms to associate with your website or ads.
• Paid listing lets you control the amount you pay for the appearance of your website and ads.
One of the major search engines that accept paid listing is Google. Its paid listing program is known as Google AdWords. Aside from Google, other popular search engines like Yahoo and MSN also encourages webmasters and web advertisers to try their paid listings programs.
Google AdWords
Google places its paid listings on a highly visible area of its search result pages or SERPs. It can either be located above the free listings or on the right hand side. Either position makes your ads more visible to the online searchers.
Google calls its paid listing program as Google AdWords. This advertising program is commonly known as AdWords alone among webmasters, web marketing specialists and online advertisers. Why will webmasters and web marketing advertisers use Google AdWords. One reason is immediate visibility and appearance of the ads and the website on Google search result pages.
Google’s free listing may take some time before your website will actually appear live. As a solution to this, Google allows webmasters and web promoters to have the opportunity to be listed the fast way. However, this instant website visibility cost an amount – thus, it is called a paid listing.
Google AdWords Charges
How much does Google charge its AdWords users? Is it a large amount? Actually it is not. Google charges its AdWords advertisers an activation fee of $5. And the rest of the charges all depend on the advertisers.
Google allows webmasters and AdWords users to determine the amount they want to pay for their ads. This is done through bidding. You bid for the keywords you want to associate with your ads. Basically, in terms of charging, Google gives you the flexibility of choice. Just a reminder, do not bid for an amount that you can’t maintain. Remember that you will be paying for that amount in every click that your paid listing receives.
Other than Google AdWords, there are still more paid listing opportunities online. There is Yahoo’s Overture and MSN Paid Listing Program. The choice depends on you. These are all good site visibility opportunities.

Landing Pages
Posted on January 12, 2007
After spending almost 21 years in the computer industry, and the past 12 focusing on the Internet, I still get asked by clients why isn’t my site giving me what I need? When I ask what they are looking for, they say: leads, sales, and traffic. Well do you have a landing page, sales page, and autoresponder system. This is about the point that they either get quiet on the phone, or their eyes glaze over. They tell me they have a website, with all of their products. I tell them that is a great site, but it is just one in the puzzle, and it needs a whole different approach if they expect sales, and leads.
So I thought this would be a good time to talk about the different types of sites, and how you can take your website strategy
from brochure bland to blast furnace flare.
Traditionally, the focus for most companies have been two-fold as far as the Internet is concerned. They are a brochure type site, that provides the who, what,
where, when, why and anything in between. Often referred to as a branding site. Some sites are even bold enough to ask for the visitors email address.
Or others have a site similar to the above, only it’s really fancy, and bold, and colorful, and flashy, and… not working. The traffic hits are still abysmal and the opt-ins
are non-existent.
If your site isn’t selling for you - then why spend the money on fancy?
There are 4 main types of websites:
1. Branding - this is a site often for yourself and/or your company. This is where most companies spend thousands of dollars, and continue to pour money into it, or haven’t updated it in years. This is where you send general contacts you meet.
2. Sales Letter - this is a one page, often long form site, that highlights the benefits of one product or service. Not many companies have this type of site, but it can be effective
when used in conjunction with an email based marketing campaign, a visitor already knows you, and/or it is the go to page after a Power Page. It is focused and it’s purpose is to get the sale. Throughout this page you should ask for the ‘buy’ about 12-15 times.
3. Blog - This is a diary/journal like site that keeps everyone up-to-date with what you are doing, and/or developments with your products or services. You can post articles here, and keep in touch with your prospects and customers. This site allows for great rankings, fast, and is a nice place to make frequent announcements, and give some background about what you or the company is doing. You can get a free one of these by going to blogger.com
4. Landing Page - This is the most important page your company could have, and only 1% of the Internet population has it. And those are the companies that are making millions, and doing very little work for it.
Do you have a Power Page?? This is also called “Squeeze Page” or “Landing Page”, … but it doesn’t matter what you call it, as long as you have one.
Start to think about what difference a page like this could mean to your company, and most importantly, start your campaign and marketing efforts to getting one.
This type of page combines internet marketing tools such as autoresponders and allow you to turn your computer from a quiet site on the world wide web, to a mass marketing machine where you can build relationships, generate leads, and create a profitable blueprint for the next stage of your business.
If someone doesn’t think you need a Landing Page, then they’re either the competition or don’t want you to grow. So watch what is happening in the industry, and follow the Internet Marketers who have turned this into an art form.
