When you are submitting Articles to CreateOnlineBusiness.com you agree to the following terms;

1. The article(s) you submit are unique and are the property of the author.
2. Articles submitted to us may be promoted additionally through RSS feeds, social bookmaking sites or any other website that may find your article interesting. If the article is published in other locations beyond our control we request that the article remains intact exactly as submitted to us.

3. Your article may also be featured in an email RSS feed that we send to other webmasters. In this case your originally written content and reference links to your site will remain exactly as submitted to us in original form.
4. When articles are published we do our absolute best to protect you from copyright infringement. However if you find your article has been copied or represented in an undesirable fashion by content thieves it is your responsibility to take whatever legal action is necessary to satisfy your situation. We will always do our best to protect you but unfortunately cannot guarantee your article will not be copied illegally
5. Articles are allowed a total of 4 obls (Outbound links) to your website. These links will not contain "No follow" attribute but will open in a new window (target:blank). If more than 4 links are included on your article COB will A) Notify you and request changes B) Remove links so that the article submitted contains no more than 4 obls. Links cannot point to adult, pharmacies or gambling.
6. If an article is submitted to our directory that is off-topic we will place it on one of our other websites that is on-topic. In this case you will be sent an email that confirms the url location where it is located. If you do not like your article place where we have published it you will have 24 hours to email or contact us requesting removal. Your article will be removed within 24 hours of notification.
7. COB can decide to remove your article. We make no promises for the length of time it is published. In the event where an article is removed from our directory or relocated to a more suitable location we take no responsibility in any lost revenue or promotional value that may be effected. We we will notify you if this happens.
8. Currently there are is no advertising in the publisher's section of COB. This is because we want readers and visitors to find what they want quickly and enjoy reading without obstruction. In the future we may ad advertising to the article directory, if so it will be subtle and non obtrusive. We may include ads that will be placed near your article. As a writer submitting articles to COB you acknowledge this.
9. Other webmasters and authors may like your article(s) and want to place it on their site. In this case your article(s) will remain as submitted to us in original form as set forth in this agreement. If another reprint source breaches copyright guidelines it will be up to the author to take legal action. COB will not be responsible for the shady actions that other people may take. Although we do our best to prevent this we cannot guarantee illegal theft of your article(s) will not occur.
10. If your article submission does not comply with our terms we will A) send you an email explaining why and provide an opportunity to fix it. B) If the changes are minor and have no major impact on the context of the article we may modify the article and publish it with our modifications. You will be notified either way.
11. COB uses a combination of software and human review to determine the authenticity of each article. If the article is found to be duplicated it will be rejected and you will be notified by email with the URL's that it was found on.
12. Articles cannot contain affiliate links. But you may link to a page on your site that contains the affiliate deal. Any articles with affiliate links will be rejected with an email confirming this to you. We will not modify an article that contains affiliate links. You may make necessary modifications and resubmit this article to us.
13. Articles submitted must relate to creating online business. In some way they must be help in terms of providing sound advice. Articles that scream "buy me" are not recommended and will likely be denied. In this case you will be notified.

Hi I am the webmaster for COB, John. Let me take a moment and explain our basic concept here because it's a little different than the norm. We are not trying to compete with the large article directories. Our goal is to create a unique collection of helpful and insightful information as it relates to starting or creating an online business.

Let me tell you a little about what features are currently running in the background currently that may be of interest to you.

1) Wordpress blog built in "Silo" fashion. I won't bore you with the details but basically this is a very search engine spider friendly site starting from here. If you look at each category there is a landing page that is automatically updated every time there is a new article published, E.g. SEO. These landing pages are found on the right navigation menu under "Pages".

2) On each page viewed 5 related posts are displayed. As the directory grows the related posts will become more pinpointed.

3) Author ad rotator- When an author submits an article you can set up a small (3 words max) text ad. This ad appears in rotation in the upper right under "top authors".
